Our identity
Our identity as a Christian community is rooted in our beliefs. We are independent from any particular denomination but work closely with other church communities in the New Forest and BCP area. Out of the foundation of belief flow our actions. We are therefore intentional about developing loving relationships with those we surround our lives with in order to know Jesus Christ, and make Him known.
Our Vision, Values and Culture
Cultivating a Kingdom Community: the Acts 2 model
At Bransgore Community Church (BCC), we are a mixed group of people from all different walks and stages of life seeking to live out the life that Jesus Christ has called us to. Our defining, overarching purpose is simple yet profound: to know Jesus Christ and make Him known.
We recognise that true Christian faith is never individualistic; it is inherently corporate and dynamically active. We are not a collection of isolated consumers, but a single body united in Christ. Our culture is defined by being a Grace and Truth people, mirroring Jesus Himself who came from the Father “full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). We are firmly rooted in God’s Word as the final, supreme authority for our life and conduct, while allowing His grace to completely shape our outworking relationships with one another and our village.
To cultivate this culture, we look to the blueprint of the early Church in Acts 2:42–47. This biblical pattern shows us that spiritual maturity happens together, as we: Gather, Grow, Give, and Go.
